Bulgarian Development Bank AD was established in 1999 year under the name of Encouragement Bank. It has been transformed to Bulgarian Development Bank AD in April 2008 after adoption of a special law regarding Bulgarian Development Bank. BDB Group includes two subsidiaries– National Guarantee Fund EAD and Microfinance Institution Jobs EAD.
